Ежедневно до обеда над Пензой не смолкал
звон. А к колокольням выстраивались
очереди.

В среду, 7 апреля,
православные встретили праздник
Благовещенья. По традиции на Руси в этот
день выпускают на волю птиц. Кстати,
предшествующие несколько дней стали
самыми прибыльными для местных птицеловов.
Пернатых продавали за символическую
сумму в 10-20 рублей. Конечно, бразильского
попугая за такие деньги не купишь, а вот
воробьи с синичками уходили на «ура».
Купив пичугу, пензенцы тут же отпускали
ее в небо.

Пятница и суббота
ознаменовались рекордным количеством
браков, заключенных в Пензенский ЗАГСах.
Точную цифру «Репортеру» в
Управлении ЗАГС по области сообщить не
смогли – сказали, что пока не подсчитали.
Но свадеб в эти дни было в разы больше,
чем обычно.
Завершила Пасхальную
неделю Красная Горка. Первое воскресенье
после Великого поста вот уже несколько
веков считается самым удачным временем
для венчаний. В этот день в каждым храме
